This Privacy Policy describes how Promterr ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our marketplace at promterr.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, name, profile details you provide.
• Marketplace activity: gigs you publish or order, requirements you submit, deliveries, reviews, and chat messages.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe. We never see your card details; we receive only tokenized references.
• Audit logs: prompts and outputs run via Orquesta during an order are captured immutably for dispute resolution. Both buyer and prompter agree to this when placing an order.
• Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, and analytics events.

2. How we use it

• To operate the marketplace (matching, escrow, delivery, reviews).
• To resolve disputes against the audit log.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• To send transactional emails about your orders.
• With your opt-in, to send product updates. You can opt out anytime in account settings.

3. Sharing

We share information with: payment processors (Stripe) to handle transactions; the counterparty in an order (buyer ↔ prompter); Orquesta as the runtime layer; service providers (email, analytics, error tracking) under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Audit logs for completed orders are retained for 7 years for dispute and tax purposes. You can request export or deletion subject to legal obligations.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to object to processing. Contact privacy@promterr.com.

6. Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for auth and session, and optional analytics cookies you can decline. No cross-site advertising trackers.

7. Children

Promterr is not intended for users under 18.

8. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes via email and post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date.
